My Hubby - Island/Snow Boy

This guy was CA-ARAZY when it came to the snow.

This was after he did a front flip into the snow.
He even tried some snowboarding training with Sitani.

Marley only lasted about 2 minutes before she was done with the sled.
but...Sitani loved it and never wanted off.

Yellowstone Sights

Anyone want a Blizzard?  Get it...Blizzard. (Arkarkark)

We had fun walking all over town. I pushed Marley in the stroller and Haini pulled Sitani in the sled.

Christmas in Yellowstone

We had a blast in Yellowstone over the holidays.  I have a million pics to post but it will have to happen after laundry and unpacking.  We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

Da Bisup!!!

While cleaning up the chapel, Sitani got on the microphone and yelled "temple" at the top of his lungs.
Me: Sitani, don't touch the mic. That is only for the Bishop.
Sitani: Mommy, Stany wanna be da bisup.

The Night Before Christmas for Moms

I stumbled across this poem from someone else's blog. It totally made my Sunday morning.

The Night Before Christmas for Moms

It was the night before Christmas, when all thru the abode
Only one creature was stirring, and she was cleaning the commode.
The children were finally sleeping, all snug in their beds,
While visions of Nintendo 64 and Barbie, flipped through their heads.

The dad was snoring in front of the TV,
With a half-constructed bicycle on his knee.
So only the mom heard the reindeer hooves clatter,
Which made her sigh, "Now what's the matter?"

With toilet bowl brush still clutched in her hand,
She descended the stairs, and saw the old man.
He was covered with ashes and soot, which fell with a shrug.
"Oh great," muttered the mom, "Now I have to clean the rug."

"Ho-ho-ho!" cried Santa, "I'm glad you're awake."
"Your gift was especially difficult to make."
"Thanks, Santa, but all I want is some time alone."
"Exactly!" he chuckled, "I've made you a clone."

"A clone?" she asked, "What good is that?
Run along, Santa, I've no time for chit-chat.
"The mother's twin. Same hair, same eyes,
Same double chin.

"She'll cook, she'll dust," She'll mop every mess.
You'll relax, take it easy, Watch The Young & the Restless."
"Fantastic!" the mom cheered. "My dream come true!"
I'll shop. I'll read., I'll sleep a whole night through! "

From the room above, the youngest began to fret.
"Mommy?! I scared... and I am wet.
"The clone replied, "I'm coming, sweetheart."
"Hey," the mom smiled, "She knows her part."

The clone changed the small one, and hummed a tune,
as she bundled the child, in a blanket cocoon.
"You the best mommy ever. " I really love you."
The clone smiled and sighed, "I love you, too."

The mom frowned and said, "Sorry, Santa, no deal."
"That's my child's love, she's trying to steal."
Smiling wisely Santa said, "To me it is clear,
"Only one loving mother, is needed here."

The mom kissed her child, and tucked her into bed.
"Thank you, Santa, for clearing my head.
I sometimes forget, it won't be very long,
When they'll be too old, for my cradle-song."

The clock on the mantle began to chime.
Santa whispered to the clone, "It works every time.
"With the clone by his side Santa said,
"Goodnight. Merry Christmas, Mom, You'll be all right."

I had the funnest time looking for a picture to go with this poem. I ran across some crazy stay at home mom's ENORMOUS weekly cleaning schedule (it included everything down to the T). I was laughing how extremely complex and complicated it looked. She could have cleaned her whole house in the time it took her to make it.
I also ran across this CHEAP and GREEN.  I love learning about these lil tips.
I have to say that I actually bought this book...
and it has a lot of cool ideas and cheap ways to clean your house, get out certain stains, and make things shine.

I also found this very funny.
I have to admit that I can't take all the credit in our house. Haini and I pretty much share the duties except for this week. I think he made dinner every night and then did the dishes every morning. I even left a note for him to the leave the dishes until I get home but he only read it after he had done them all. What a great hubby.
I love being a mom and even though Sitani has hit the non-stop talking stage where he constantly is asking a question "What's dat?"  "What u doin?" , wanting me to "watch this/me", or just saying "mom, mom, mom" over and over (Marley copies him too, when he does that).  I love it all and have to remember that it is going to go so fast and there will be a day when I will miss these little chubby lil bellies and funny talking kids.  I am reminded of the conference talk given by President Monson Finding Joy in the Journey.

"If you are in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will - to your surprise - miss them profoundly... my sincere prayer is that we may adapt to the changes in our lives, that we may realize what is most important, that we may express our gratitude always and thus find joy in the journey."

GoLdiNG + ReYNoLd FAmiLieS

So some good friends and fellow coworkers decided to be brave and let me "practice" on them. Thanks you guys.  Much practice is needed and I appreciate all your patience even when I had no idea how to work the camera.  (P.S. both Matt and Patrick are photographers.)

Brynlie is seriously the funniest baby ever and such a spazz.  She is hilarious and always giggling. I think she would make a perfect baby model.

Check out this hot mama!!!

and...introducing the Reynolds Family
Yeah for the most charismatic family ever. Thanks Marnie for letting me practice on your beautiful family.
Forbes is the cutest lil boy I've ever seen.
He is in Kindergarten and has the cutest crush on his teacher.
This is the real shot of Marnie.  Are those gang signs?
I love this cool background that Marnie found.
of course... gotta bring the doggie. You can't have a family picture without the doggie.

Hahaha... I made them look at each other.  What a cute couple. Aaahhh!!

This is at "The Porch" a store owned by Marnie's mom.
