Halloween

I know that Halloween was about three weeks ago but I am just now getting things posted.  :)  We went to the pumpkin patch and picked out pumpkins.  We made them carry them all the way back to the truck.  Sitani still wanted to get the biggest one out there.

We also went to our ward's trunk or treat.  These two started in on their candy before it was even over.

On Halloween night, we went trick or treating with the Akiona's.  Every year this lady makes homemade cookies and Tracey gets so excited.

This picture is blurry but it is my favorite.  This was Elijah all night.  He was running like crazy from house to house.  I love it when your kids are old enough and finally get the candy thing and they get so excited!!!  It make Halloween so much more fun.

I ran into this hottie on the street and had to get a picture.

When it was all done, we came back and lit our pumpkins and ate lots of candy.

  1. Kristi, thinking of you, and remembering our fun time @ PCC ambassador dining. Anyways, I just moved to Orem. I love your post about working mother. It hurts my heart to know that people making comments to you regarding working outside the home. I stay home now with my children because I had twins 6 months ago plus my older two kids. But, I know the feeling when I was working full time, I already felt bad leaving my Malachi, feeling like not spending enough time with him, so I didn't need anyone to make me feel worst. I worked part time at one point, and just continue to work part time after my second came, and now I'm home. You do what works for your family. We don't all have to do the same thing, and just stop being closed minded about everything. It's annoying.....we don't have to keep up with the Jones'.....hope you're feeling better with the whole thing. I'm glad you found that talk...I remember the talk and I love it. What I noticed...not bragging, but when I was working full time, I noticed my kid was more well-behaved than those are my friends who stay home. Yay me!!! So, like you said, quality not quantity.
