Here are some favorites from today. Haini had to fly out early in the morning to Iowa for a pick up and didn't return until late this evening so we decided to just play. The kids literary swam/played from 12 in the afternoon to 9 at night. My kids are zonked out. I love it!!!

Father's Day

We had a last minute barbeque at the park for Father's Day. The fathers ended up doing all the cooking, I ended up eating all the food and the kids did all the playing. It was a great day!!!

Our Rasta Buddah Daddy

Happy Father's Day to our one and only Rasta Buddah Daddy. Nobody can crack jokes and make us laugh like this monkey. We are so lucky to have the best dad in the world and in his own words, the sexiest one alive!!!

Me: Is your Daddy a monkey?
Marley's Words: Yea, Daddy is a MONKey.
Sitani's Words: No Daddy is not a monkey, Daddy is a Big Guy.

Glad we got that straight.

Finger-Painting

Now this is my idea of finger-painting. Did I mention how much I LOVE being home with my kids. We are having a blast just wasting our days away.
Any stay-home-mom should feel like the luckiest lady ever. :)

What a lil STUD-MUFFIN!!!

Earlier today, we were in a store....

Me: Sitani, go and follow daddy.
Sitani: No mom, not follow daddy. We got to "Follow the Prophet."

Sami's Shots

My 7 year old niece told me that she has decided that she wants to become a photographer instead of a an artist. :) Here are a couple of her shots.

Marley-Girl

It's hard to believe this monkey is almost two. We have truly been blessed with the sweetness of a little girl. Seriously, she is so sweet and tender with her umas (kisses) and constant singing. She has already invented her own little medley of the ABC's, Popcorn on the Apricot Tree, and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. She will be the perfect big sister. We can't wait.

Da Boy

While driving home from church...

Sitani: Mommy, da boy is hungry.
Me: What boy?
Sitani: Da boy that is inside of my body.

Da BYU Bike

Found these in my car one morning along side a beautiful bag of Sweedish Fish. I asked Haini what the big occasion was and he just smiled and said,
 "It's SUMMER!!!"

I also found this in one of our closets way back in December. I asked Haini why there was an old oatmeal can with the lid taped down.  He told me that Sitani and Marley were going to save change for a bike.  For the past six months every time they found change or we had left over change, they would go put it in the oatmeal jar.  They knew they were saving to buy a bike for Sitani because Marley was still too little but I think Marley got more excited every time she got to donate to the jar.  They would go a couple times to look around at bikes and back in February Sitani found a BYU bike and decided that was the one.

Well, just last week, we cashed in the change and they got to go and buy that BYU bike.   Marley was still just as excited and Sitani has been so patient to help her ride the bike too.  Now we taped up the jar again and will be saving for a bike for Marley next summer when she is bigger. Sitani has told me over and over that she wants a pretty princess bike.

He is such a good brother.  I love it!!!

We are also getting ready for the baby.  It will be here before we know it.  Only 5 more weeks and maybe a couple of late weeks after that. We are soooooo excited and mommy can't wait so she can actually bend over to pick up toys without doing a funny looking ballerina leg lift.

Sunday Afternoons

It was fun to hang out at the Provo Temple with Grandma and Gracie on a relaxing Sunday afternoon.  Mom made leaf crowns for Marley and Sitani and she took each one on a special walk to pick a flower (even though I told them that we shouldn't pick the flowers at the temple).  I guess it is okay as long as Grandma picked them, right? They played airplanes and even got to ride the new BYU bike in the parking lot.  Come back soon, please!!!
